GOA & GOF, ON BEHALF OF CARL HIGBIE, FILED A MOTION OF SUMMARY JUDGEMENT IN NY TO EXPAND VICTORY FROM NYC<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n January 24, 2025<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Washington, D.C. \u2014 Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Gun Owners Foundation (GOF), on behalf of Carl Higbie and two other plaintiffs, have filed a motion for summary judgment aimed at expanding nonresidents’ access to concealed carry permits across the entire state of New York\u2014shattering the current barriers that confine such access to New York City.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Erich Pratt, GOA\u2019s Senior Vice President, issued the following statement:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOur rights, protected by the Constitution, aren\u2019t up for debate\u2014period. Overreaching law enforcement agencies don\u2019t get to decide otherwise. GOA and GOF are relentless in defending our members and the freedoms they hold dear.
