Repeal of Gun-Free Zones on the Move in Cheyenne!<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Wyoming Legislative Session is underway, and GOA-endorsed, pro-Second Amendment Conservatives will be fighting hard to pass good Second Amendment Legislation and stop any bill that infringes on your God-Given Right to Keep and Bear Arms.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For four years, GOA-backed legislation, championed by Representative Jeremy Haroldson (R – Wheatland), has been introduced to Repeal dangerous Gun-Free Zones in Wyoming.<\/strong><\/p>\n

GOA fought hard to pass this bill in both 2022 and 2023, but anti-Second Amendment liberals stopped the Legislation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, we were able to push a Repeal through the Legislature in 2024, but that Repeal was vetoed by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon. You can read about that effort at this<\/strong> link<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we enter the 2025 Wyoming Legislative Session, Representative\u00a0Haroldson, now the House Speaker Pro Tempore, has reintroduced the Repeal of Gun Free Zones in the form of HB0172!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Also, ask your Legislators not to accept a watered-down version and to be prepared to override a Governor’s veto this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the coming weeks, GOA will be working to ensure this bill passes the Legislature without weakening Amendments, so stay tuned for more information soon regarding how you can help strengthen Second Amendment Rights in Wyoming.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
