FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n October 25, 2023<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Washington, D.C. \u2014 Today, the U.S. Senate passed the GOA-backed <\/span>S<\/span>.<\/span> A<\/span>m<\/span>dt<\/span>.<\/span> 1354<\/span><\/span><\/a> to H.R. 4366 to defund the near three-decade old rule which took guns away from veterans with fiduciaries managing their VA benefits. A nearly identical, GOA-backed amendment <\/span>passed<\/span><\/span><\/a> the House of Representatives in July.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Gun Owners of America (GOA) has been leading the fight for decades to repeal this awful rule, which has allowed bureaucrats to disarm over 260,000 veterans since the Clinton Administration.
