(AP Photo\/Brennan Linsley, File)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-next-post-navi\">\n<p>\nNext Post Coming Soon&#8230;\u25b6\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>After racking up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthaboutguns.com\/bruen-again-boulder-county-assault-weapon-magazine-bans-blocked-by-biden-appointed-federal-judge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wins<\/a> last month in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denverpost.com\/2022\/09\/04\/gun-control-boulder-county-federal-court-rocky-mountain-gun-owners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tenth Circuit<\/a> challenging <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/2Aupdates\/status\/1567246642826330121\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Colorado \u201cassault weapons\u201d and \u201chigh capacity\u201d magazine bans<\/a> in four jurisdictions, the National Association for Gun Rights is taking its <em>Bruen<\/em>-powered show on the road. They filed suits today against similar gun control laws in five more jurisdictions in four federal Circuit Courts.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s NAGR\u2019s press release announcing the suits . . .<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Today, The National Association for Gun Rights\u2019 legal arm filed five lawsuits in four different federal appellate circuits to challenge multiple state and local \u201cassault weapons\u201d bans and standard-capacity magazine bans.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>The cases were filed in First Circuit (Massachusetts), Second Circuit (Connecticut), Seventh Circuit (Highland Park and Naperville, Illinois), and the Ninth Circuit (Hawaii). Cases in the Tenth Circuit against the state of Colorado had previously been filed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Local plaintiffs have been found in each state.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cStates have been ignoring the Second Amendment and the Heller and McDonald decisions for far too long \u2013 and law-abiding gun owners are sick and tired of their unconstitutional antics which disarm millions of Americans,\u201d said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights. \u201cIn light of the Bruen decision, and the success we\u2019ve had in suing localities in Colorado for their gun grabs, we\u2019re going after every Federal Circuit Court which has upheld egregious firearms bans. They must immediately overturn their \u2018assault weapons\u2019 and magazine bans\u2013 and our suits argue just that.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_531565\" Colorado affiliate Rocky Mountain Gun Owners against several municipal cases where judges have already granted Temporary Restraining Orders based on the Bruen decision preventing the enforcement of \u201cassault weapons\u201d and magazine ban ordinances.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cOur mission has always been to expand pro-gun precedents and defend gun owners,\u201d said Hannah Hill, Research and Policy Director for the National Foundation for Gun Rights, the legal defense arm of the National Association for Gun Rights. \u201cThe brilliant decision from Justice Thomas this summer has provided us with the ammo to free millions of law-abiding Americans who have been unjustly denied their gun rights.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>If successful, the National Association for Gun Rights will push to overturn these unconstitutional gun control laws, and establish a national precedent permanently ending all similar bans on commonly owned firearms and magazines across the country<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cWe are simply asking for the courts to enforce the Supreme Court\u2019s pro-gun Bruen ruling by re-evaluating and striking down each of these gun control laws under the new national standard which outlaws gun controls that are not consistent with the \u2018text, history, tradition of the Second Amendment\u2019 as required in the Bruen decision,\u201d concluded Brown.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>The National Association for Gun Rights is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cno
